Kymppivoima Oy is a company that operates in accordance with the Mankala principle *), with the task of administering and developing generation allocations owned by the company and ensuring diverse electricity generation for its customers under the principle of cost-based pricing.
*) The Mankala principle refers to articles of association with a business idea resembling that of a housing association. Each shareholder is obligated to pay for the expenses arising from the company’s operations, and shares entitle their holder to utilise the commodity produced by the company, i.e. electricity, or in the case of a housing association, a dwelling. Shares do not entitle their holder to dividends, as the company operates under the principle of cost-based pricing.
